He may craft pappardelle with lamb Bolognese and wood-oven-fired Wagyu striploin at his new restaurant The Genuine (thegenuineaz.com), but chef Jeremy Pacheco is no snob when it comes to grocery shopping for his household. “I like the Fry’s down the street. I like the fuel points, especially right now,” he laughs. At home, he relishes cooking for his wife and two young sons. “On Mondays, I try to make at least one [big] meal for the family, like meal-planning, just because I’m rarely here for dinner.” Pacheco let us peek into his home fridge.
