Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 9 and local restaurants are celebrating with multi-course meals, exclusive menu items and novelty cocktails. Here’s a running list of restaurants celebrating Mom this May with sustenance – and lots of Champagne, natch.

Ember at We-Ko-Pa
Raise a glass for moms everywhere with a complimentary Bellini, mimosa or glass of Champagne, plus an elaborate brunch including an amuse bouche, appetizer, entrée and dessert for $65. Personally, we can’t wait to celebrate Mom with orange creamsicle cheesecake.

Give mom the gift of a day off from cooking with nomada Provisions’ Cook for Mother Box, which consists of charcuterie, salad, beef roast and semolina cake. Pick up the gourmet to-go meal (no actual cooking required) on Mother’s Day between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Select bottles of wine to complement the meal will be discounted in-store. The boxes are $55 for two servings and $100 for four.

In addition to its regular menu of scratch-made goodies, Phoenix City Grille is cooking up two Mother’s Day specials: Filet Oscar with caramelized cipollini onion smashed Yukon potatoes, lump crab meat, organic asparagus and Meyer lemon hollandaise ($44) and pan-roasted Chula Seafood wild Alaskna halibut with citrus-roasted local beets, haricot verts, Champagne beurre blanc and toasted Marcona almonds ($34).

Each meal is $25 and includes a bottle of Champagne and assorted juices. “MamaMosas” specially created by The Hive’s mixology maven Bridgette Baldwin will also be available.
