Arizona Restaurant Week is coming back! From May 21-30, the Arizona Restaurant Association’s premier event will present some of the best dining options the state has to offer.
Participating restaurants, which range from established five-star restaurants to small, locally owned hidden gems, will offer three-course prix-fixe menus in addition to their regular offerings. Each tasting menu will be priced at $33 or $44 with wine pairings at select dining destinations for an additional cost.
Jamie Stone, the association’s director of marketing, says this year’s Arizona Restaurant Week is going to feel more similar to those in the past. Following the 2020 event, which featured takeout only, the organization wanted to make the upcoming 2021 event as “normal” as they could.
Takeout options will still play a dominant role in the event to encourage diners to participate however they feel comfortable.
The association’s president and CEO, Steve Chucri, says they are thrilled to present Arizona Restaurant Week, “an event that has always been dedicated to promoting and supporting restaurants around the state,” after the unrelenting challenges that the hospitality industry faced last year.
Restaurants slated to participate include elements at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort, Marcellino Ristorante, The Gladly and Urban Margarita. A full list of participating restaurants and menus will be released in April.
Recently opened Scottsdale eatery STK Steakhouse is making its first appearance at Arizona Restaurant Week this year. Marketing manager Donovan Swanson says the STK team can’t wait to participate and has created a special menu that will allow guests to experience “culinary excellence at an incredible value.”
“We hope that diners take the opportunity during ARW to patronize their favorite restaurant or give a new one a try,” Chucri says.
