Arturo Valverde, MD, is chair of Heart Rhythm Services at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and has 17 years of experience in cardiac electrophysiology. He obtained his medical degree at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. He completed his residency at UAB, and a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Mayo Clinic. He established the EP laboratory and Heart Rhythm Service in the Western New York VA System and at Mayo Clinic Health System in Northwest Wisconsin. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Heart Rhythm Society.
