Cornelia Drees, MD, is a senior associate consultant within neurology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. After her neurology residency training at the University of Cologne, Germany, and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She completed her fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio.

Her clinical practice involves medical and surgical care of adults with epilepsy. Dr. Drees has specific research interests in outcomes after epilepsy surgery, intracranial monitoring, and neuromodulation devices, as well as improving the quality and safety of processes and care dealing with persons with epilepsy. She is also involved in intraoperative monitoring and enjoys teaching.
