Looking for a good way to boost the local economy? Alexhandra Hotko of Hotko Bread Co. has put together The PHX Sampler, a selection of local products that you can order online and have delivered to your door. Hotko’s mission is to get local products into the hands of residents and visitors who may not be leaving home because of the pandemic or don’t know where to shop for them.

The samplers come in three sizes: The Valley Taster ($29) includes 4-7 local products; The Valley Explorer ($49) features 6-9 local products; and The Valley Gatherer, with 7-11 products. Sampler products change weekly, but you can add on additional items when ordering.

Order by noon on Thursday for Sunday no contact delivery. Each package includes a letter with information about the vendors and products. “They also receive contact information for each (vendor) so they can find out more and/or purchase directly from their new favorites,” Hotko says.

Hotko started The PHX Sampler as a side project during her pandemic downtime. “I would love to see this grow to include as many local creators as possible so we can continue to introduce new local brands to our community,” she says. “I’m a big believer in community over competition. We all have something to contribute towards each other’s efforts to grow.”

Vendors include many farmers market favorites, including Hotko Bread Co.; All About The Booch; The Fig & the Knife; Nonna Urban Eatery; Garden Goddess; b naked chocolates; and Culture Clash Fresh Greek Yogurt. For a complete list of vendors, visit thephxsampler.com.
