Celebrating Cinco de Mayo may not include taking tequila shots at your favorite local watering hole or devouring tacos at your neighborhood Mexican eatery this year. However, there are still ways to observe the popular holiday from the comfort of your own home. Here is a handful of Cinco de Mayo specials being offered by local restaurants.

Modern Tortilla
This famed food truck will be offering a build-your-own-taco bar outside of Aioli Gourmet Burgers in Phoenix all day on May 5. Fill fresh corn tortillas with your choice of chicken tinga or carne asada and enjoy with chips, salsa, rice and beans. Wash it all down with a canned margarita or fresh horchata. Two-person meals are $29 and four-person packages are $55.

Make your own tacos with Urban Margarita’s handy to-go kits, which serve up to six people for $24. Add a pitcher of the eatery’s signature margaritas for an extra $20. All three Valley locations of this sports bar will be offering to-go orders for a safe Cinco de Mayo featuring chicken and carne asada tacos and six-packs of sealed margaritas, White Claws and beer. Each restaurant will be hosting a $10 car wash with proceeds benefiting St. Mary’s Food Bank. A DJ will be spinning tunes for customers to enjoy while they grab their food or get their car washed. In order to reach as many customers as possible, all five of Serrano’s locations will be offering Cinco de Mayo specials from Monday, May 4 through Saturday, May 9.
