Fall is finally here and Chandler is celebrating in a big way, with the fourth annual Arizona Harvest Fest and Open Air Market at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park on Saturday, November 10. The free, family-friendly festival will feature more than 150 merchants purveying products that range from holiday gifts to home décor.
Peruse furniture, clothing, art and jewelry while listening to a live soundtrack provided by local bands including D. on Darox & the Melody Joy Bakers, Pick & Holler, Jim Bachman & the Day Drinkers and Blaine Long. Festivalgoers can also participate in a pie-eating contest, pumpkin toss, corn shucking, cake walk and kids zone. A beer garden will also be serving up seasonal brews.
Presented by HDE Agency, which organizes a bevy of signature annual events around the Valley including Rockin’ Taco Street Festival, Suds & Slides and the Great Southwest Cajun Festival, the fest also features a charitable element.
A portion of proceeds will go to ICAN, an East Valley-based nonprofit that provides free, family-centered programs aimed at equipping at-risk youth with tools to achieve personal and academic success.
“Arizona Harvest Fest is about giving back to the community and making the most of the cooler weather while enjoying a Sunday afternoon of fun, shopping, great music and food,” says HDE owner Landon Evans.
