Got a case of the Mondays? Head to Ocean Prime from 5 to 7 p.m. on Mondays to enjoy six oysters with frozen granita for $13. Limited-Time Three-Course Menu
Through Sunday, August 4, Ocean Prime is offering a special three-course menu for $45 per person. The exclusive menu will include:
First Course, Choice of:
Ocean Prime House Salad — romaine, field greens, Granny Smith apples, goat cheese, walnuts and sherry mustard vinaigrette
Caesar Salad — crisp romaine, parmesan dressing and brioche croutons
Entrée Course, Choice of:
Eight-ounce Filet Mignon — with gouda potato cake, chili-seared spinach and cabernet jus
Sea Scallops — with parmesan risotto, English peas and citrus vinaigrette
Chilean Sea Bass — with glazed carrots, mashed potatoes and champagne truffle sauce
Dessert Course, Choice of:
Five Layer Carrot Cake — with cream cheese icing and pineapple syrup
Sorbet — Chef’s selection paired with an almond cookie
Alaska Halibut Pairing
Alaskan halibut, known for its firm texture and fresh taste, is currently in season. Ocean Prime’s iteration is served with an assortment of seasonal ingredients such as celery root purée, spring peas, asparagus, fava beans and buttered lobster claw, drizzled with lemon pesto vinaigrette. “The mix of spring vegetables complements the fish well, and the citrus-forward vinaigrette with the lobster elevates the entire dish,” says Ian Rough, Ocean Prime’s regional chef. Pair this citrus-centric dish with a fruit-forward Chardonnay from Cakebread Cellars, available by the bottle.
