Dr. Robert Waldrop is a board certified and double fellowship-trained in spine surgery and musculoskeletal oncology. He specializes in spinal deformity, complex and revision spine surgery, degenerative disorders, and tumors of the bone and soft tissue. After graduating from the University of South Alabama Medical School, Dr. Waldrop trained at Banner Good Samaritan for his residency program. He received his spine fellowship training at the University of California, San Francisco and his musculoskeletal oncology training at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. He is one of six in the country with this dual specialty and is unique to the southwest United States.
