Maziyar Kalani, M.D. is a neurosurgeon at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, where he treats spine and spinal cord tumors, cervical and thoracolumbar spinal deformity, and degenerative disease of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. He is also an assistant professor of neurosurgery at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
Dr. Kalani earned his medical degree and completed a neurosurgical residency training at Stanford University School of Medicine. At Stanford, he also completed an intra-residency sub specialization in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery. After, he went on to complete a combined orthopedic-neurosurgical fellowship in complex and reconstructive spinal surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.
