Javier Munoz, MD, MS, FACP, specializes in treating patients with lymphoma. He is the director of the Lymphoma Program at Mayo Clinic in Arizona and is triple board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology. Dr. Munoz completed a Master of Science in patient-based research and an investigational cancer therapeutics fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center before relocating to Arizona. He has been a principal investigator in multiple cutting-edge lymphoma trials including immunotherapy and CAR T-cells. Dr. Munoz has published in internationally renowned journals including the New England Journal of Medicine, Blood, and JAMA. His personal goal is to develop non-chemotherapy agents for patients suffering from lymphoma.
