I love my specialty because: I believe I can make a difference by finding solutions to a patient’s
pain when all other treatments are exhausted.

My best day on the job so far was when: I was able to provide relief to a patient who has given up on pain relief.

My worst day on the job so far was when:
I was not able to achieve what I believe I should have with my patient.

If I weren’t a doctor, I would be: an inventor.

When I’m not working, I love to: travel, lecture, teach.

I should know better as a doctor, but I just can’t help indulging in:
work as a stress reliever.

If I could change anything about health care, I would: preserve
the doctor-patient relationship without outside interference.

Medical marijuana: Yay or nay? Yay, but strict guidelines
must be followed for appropriate use.

If my patients could describe me in three words, they’d say I am:
honest, straightforward and providing advice in their best interest.
