Local coffee shops are renovating their weeknight offerings as they embrace the full meaning of the term “coffee bar.” Whether it’s an evening client meeting or an attempt to test the dating pool waters, these dynamic coffee bars have you covered from Americano to Desert Pale Ale.
Pumpkin Spice Lattes and Caramel Frappuccinos aren’t your only beverage of choice anymore at this coffee monopoly. Select Starbucks locations across the country, and this one in Downtown Phoenix, are offering “Starbucks Evenings” a few hours a night when you can trade in your Pumpkin Spice Latte for an Expresso Cloud IPA, a craft beer topped with expresso foam and served with a shot of espresso. If that sounds like too much of an upper (or a downer) for nighttime, there's also wine.

Cartel Coffee Lab
Known for its hipster takeover of Southern Arizona, Cartel has fully embraced the concept of a full “brew bar,” by offering both craft coffee and craft beer. Although this idea was originally intended to exist in a single space, the brews have since been separated into coffee shop and neighboring lounge. Some of their beers include D.P.A (Desert Pale Ale), Coffee Brown, Amber Rye and F.Y.I.T.M., a blend of 6 different Hops.
