In the Valley of the Sun, there’s a car cruise, car show or car auction literally every weekend of the year. Here are a few to get you started.

Museums

Scottsdale International Auto Museum: Soon to be a misnomer, this nonprofit showcase of more than 150 privately-owned vehicles is in the midst of relocating to a 156,000 square-foot former department store space at the Metro Center in Phoenix. Cruise-Ins/Car Shows

Saturday Mesa Riverview Cruise-In: One of several events staged every weekend by “Cruise-In Queen” Nancy Perry, this car-hobby gathering lures low-rider and novelty car enthusiasts, including regular appearances by a Ghostbusters replica 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor. Barrett-Jackson: The alpha of American car auctions realized $109 million in sales last January, setting records for attendance (over 300,000) and number of no-reserve cars sold (1,343). barrett-jackson.com
