Struggle of the Sexes

Author: Adam Klawonn
Issue: March, 2010, Page 48

Local author Ron Biagini  scores a big hit with his marriage ‘how-to’ for men.

With five children, 26 years of marriage experience, and the feeling that he had more to accomplish in life than being an executive recruiter, Phoenix resident Ron Biagini wondered if it was time to write a book.

But this had to be something useful – an instructional tool that his sons could one day pick up any time they were having trouble in their marriage. Thus, the idea began for Does Anyone Speak Female? ($17, Tate Publishing).

Biagini admits that, at times, writing the book felt like “throwing spaghetti on paper.” But the finished product, released in August 2009, is geared toward both sexes and covers a lot of ground – from finances to sexual intimacy.

Biagini says a screenplay could be next, because he and his wife Janet have decided the logical sequel, Does Anyone Speak Male?, isn’t worth it. “We kid around that it would only have two chapters: Sex and Food,” he says.
