Created for the girl whose closet is as  multifaceted as she is, Pink House Boutique in historic Downtown Glendale is an explosion of colors and styles that fancies itself a purveyor of original clothing and accessories “for women who define their own style.”

Started in 2005 by Danica Coral, whose background in fashion includes working for designer line Tommy Hilfiger, Pink House Boutique has evolved from a stand-alone store into a collaboration of pop-up shops within its brick-and-mortar location featuring various designers and vendors.

“When we originally moved into our space, we realized it was pretty large,” Coral says. “After hearing interest from several designers and vendors, we quickly understood there was a need for a shared space.”

From bedazzled hats by local designer Bri Bridge to eclectic Day of the Dead-themed jewelry by Gina’s Originals AZ, the boutique seamlessly marries rockabilly style with Hello Kitty accessories and ethereal bohemian maxidresses. Entering the shop feels like stepping into the closet of a woman who can make any trend her own.

Pink House doesn’t collaborate with just anyone. Not only does a designer’s product need to fit the diverse aesthetic of the store, but it needs to be accessible to the everywoman. “We don’t want to be a boutique where you walk in and can’t buy anything; we want pieces that are affordable and accessible,” Coral says. “We want our pieces to be special. We don’t want just more of the same.”
