Tomorrow more than 75 of the Southwest's best craft breweries are gathering at the Phoenix Convention Center for an annual toast to great beer at the Real Wild & Woody Festival. Savor seasonal sips, indulge in award-winning brews, tap into specialty casks and enjoy a whole lot of food, music, games and activities. But whatever you do, don't miss out on wetting your whistle with these unique new releases:

AlmaSour
Cuvee Verdad Sour Beers from 12 West Brewing
The Gilbert brewer will be launching their new Cuvee Verdad sour project at the festival, featuring bottle pours from Alma, a table sour aged for eight months in Cabernet barrels, and Hannah, a Brett New England-style IPA dry hopped with Mosaic hops.

Pickle Rick Gose from Grand Canyon Brewing with 12 West Brewing and Whining Pig
Inspired by Sonic's Dill Pickle Slushy, Grand Canyon Brewing – in partnership with 12 West Brewing and the Whinning Pig – are unveiling the Pickle Rick Gose at the festival. This deliciously twisted kettle-soured Gose will dazzle your taste buds with flavors of dill, black pepper and rosemary.

8 Bit Ryans Recurring Insanity

Ryan's Recurring Insanity from Avondale's 8-Bit AleWorks
Instead of using the standard tactic of using priming sugars, Ryan's Recurring Insanity uses only the sugars in a box of Fruity Pebbles to wake up the yeast and carbonate this beer.
Festival attendees can expect a sweet burst of Fruity Pebbles in the aroma, followed by a rush of citrusy tartness that gives way to just a touch of sweetness in the finish. Look for this one, along with three other cereal carbonated casks from this innovative and fun brew house.

Barrel-Aged Series from Huss Brewing
The Tempe brewer will be launching a barrel-aged series of five beers at Saturday's festival, including varieties aged in tequila, whiskey, bourbon and rye barrels. A sure-fire Arizona favorite, the¡Lo Que Paso Anoche!is a Copper State IPA aged in tequila barrels with added lime peel for a little zest and zing!

Rain Crow IPA from Borderlands Brewing (Tucson), Wren House (Phoenix) and Crooked Tooth Brewing (Tucson)Rain Crow IPA
Highlighting the unique work that members of the independent craft brewing community in Arizona often engage in to bring awareness to causes near and dear to their hearts, a very special beer to be on the lookout for at the festival comes from a collaboration between these three members of the Western Rivers Brewers Council.
Called Rain Crow IPA, this unique brew was created to bring awareness of the need for water conservation and water-conscious, responsible brewing methods. This New England-Style IPA was double dry hopped with Citra hops, resulting in a hazy, juicy IPA with a pleasing bite and smooth body.
