Greenhouse Cooler

This simple, savory science comes from the expert mixologists at The Casablanca Lounge. To make this killer cocktail, they muddle two cherry tomatoes and add 1½ ounces Stolichnaya vodka, ¾ ounce Campari, ½ ounce fresh lime juice and 1 ounce watermelon syrup (equal parts strained watermelon juice and sugar). They shake it, double strain it into a Collins glass, top it with soda and garnish it with a basil leaf and watermelon ball.

The result is a lively libation that tastes like spring, distilled into your glass. The Greenhouse Cooler won’t warm the globe, but it could certainly heat up a dinner date.
