Get Kraken

Barkeeps get the imagination racing by combining in a shaker full of ice 1 ½ ounces Hangar One vodka, ¾ ounce Kraken Black Spiced Rum, 1 ½ ounces Monin Banana Puree, a splash of Disaronno Amaretto, a heavy splash of pineapple juice and the juice of half a lime (squeezed in and discarded). They shake vigorously, pour into a stemmed glass, float ½ ounce Kraken Black Spiced Rum on top and garnish with an orange slice and a cherry flag.

The surf might not be up on the nearby Scottsdale Canal, but your mood certainly will be sunny after you “release the Kraken.”
