Steakhouse Sweeties

Citizen Public House
Rundown: Three-course dinner on Feb. 14 for $60 per person (not including tax or gratuity).
Highlight: Tomahawk for two, a 32-ounze Niman Ranch bone-in ribeye with “twice-baked potato,” carrot purée, lobster mushrooms, sautéed spinach and a dark chocolate demi-glace. Must be reserved in advance.

The Gladly
Rundown: Tasting menu on Feb. 14 for $60 per person (not including tax or gratuity).
Highlight: The Original Chopped Salad, Café du Monde short ribs, Tracy Dempsey Originals dark chocolate tartlet and berry verrine.

J&G Steakhouse
Rundown: Special menu offered Feb. 12-14 for $75 per person.
Highlight: Grilled beef tenderloin with spinach and buttery Fresno chile hot sauce. J&G's signature warm chocolate cake is a must for dessert, but the raspberry and rose pavlova is a showstopper. Solution: You order one, your partner orders the other, and you split them both.

Paul Martin's American Grill
Rundown: Decadent appetizers and entrees in addition to the regular dinner menu from Feb. 11-15. On Monday, enjoy a Wine Dinner for Two for $50.
Highlight: Half-pound chilled Alaskan king crab legs ($25) with Schramsberg Brut Rosé ($19/glass; $71/bottle).

Rusconi's American Kitchen
Rundown: Sweethearts Menu available Feb. 12-13 for $45 per person for dinner. Valentine's Day menu available Feb. 14 for dinner for $55 per person.
Highlight: Lobster bisque, blackberry-glazed pork tenderloin, grilled anjou pear and dark chocolate beignets for two.

Tavern Americana
Rundown: Surf and turf entree with sides and dessert, plus a complimentary “toast” pour of bubbly for $26 per person.
Highlight: Red wine-braised short ribs and butter-poached jumbo shrimp. And red velvet cake.

Rundown: Food and drink specials and a complimentary piece of Texas sheet cake on Feb. 14.
Highlight: Prickly pear margarita for only $3.50 and Steak Lin Sue, a 10-oz. New York strip grilled to order and topped with artichoke hearts and jumbo Gulf shrimp, covered with house-made Béarnaise sauce, and served with dinner salad and choice of potatoes for $26.


Sexy Sushi

Roka Akor
Rundown: Shareable menu with a “One Love, Two Tastes” theme. Tasting menu starts at 5 p.m. and is priced at $69; the 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. menus are priced at $98, with optional beverage pairings for $49-$69.
Highlight: Yuzu miso black cod, Niman Ranch beef tataki and an “Aphrodisiac” upgrade ($30) that adds premium oysters, caviar and fresh truffles to your meal.

Stingray Sushi
Rundown: Valentine's Day couples menu for $75, which includes two drinks, one appetizer, one specialty maki roll or crudo and two chef's specialties.
Highlight: Stingray roll – spicy crab and cucumber topped with furikake – and fresh seared hamachi. Prime filet, Chilean sea bass or the sushi assortment are available for $10 more.


Latin Lovers

Los Sombreros
Rundown: Tasting menu for $39.95 per couple
Highlight: Shrimp and papaya salad, salmon with mole verde, chicken breast with huitlacoche and two flan options.

Sierra Bonita Grill
Rundown: Brunch and dinner specials.
Highlight: Green chile cheddar quiche ($14) and slow-braised short ribs and wood-grilled shrimp ($37).

Ticoz Latin Kitchen
Rundown: Prix fixe menu of appetizer, entree and dessert for $30 per person.
Highlight: Chorizo and potato empanadas, sherry chipotle chicken, Ticoz paella and churros.

Marcellino Ristorante
Rundown: Full regular menu available along with V-Day specials starting at $39.95. Baskets of Amore to go lets you take home a three-course dinner packaged in Valentine's décor, with reheating instructions. Choose from Pasta Lovers, Fish & Fowl Lovers, or Meat Lovers baskets.
Highlight: Porcini fettuccine with fresh lobster and shiitake mushrooms, and the grilled wild boar chop.

Taggia at FireSky Resort & Spa
Rundown: La Festa Degli Innamorati menu ($65 per person, with $35 per person wine pairings available) offered Feb. 13-14. Slightly reduced à la carte menu will also be available.
Highlight: Espresso pork belly tartine, lamb ragu tagliatelle and glazed chocolate napoleon.

Zappone's Italian Bistro
Rundown: Special three-course menu offered on Feb. 14.
Highlight: Lobster bisque, stuffed A-line chicken breast with herb risotto, chocolate pots de crème.


International Love

Casablanca Lounge
Rundown: Valentine's Day tasting menu with appetizer, entree and dessert for $65 per person. Add wine pairings for additional $30; craft beer pairings for $25; whiskey pairings for $75; mixologist's choice cocktails for $50.
Highlight: Extensive pairings; roasted poblano and sweet corn soup, smoked sea salt and herb-crusted pork chop, bacon Amaro crème brûlée.

Central Bistro
Rundown: Four courses including an appetizer, “mystery course,” entree and dessert.
Highlight: The mystery course, of course! It's chef's choice, so prepare for a spontaneous surprise. Also excited for: roasted cauliflower soup, crispy seared duck breast and espresso cheesecake.

Local Bistro
Rundown: Four-course menu with “mystery course,” starting at $65 per person.
Highlight: Handmade burrata with warm panzanella, truffle risotto and the mystery course (psst – it's spaghetti with king crab and truffle butter).

Marigold Maison
Rundown: Specials for the whole weekend!
Highlight: Lobster mango masala, vaishno tikka and gulabi kulfi, a Creamsicle-like treat made with rose watter, strawberries, raspberries, green cardamom, cashews, almonds, milk and saffron.

The Market Restaurant + Bar by Jennifer's
Rundown: Four-course menu plus a chef's choice amuse bouche, plus a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. It costs $85 per person without wine; $120 per person with wine pairing.
Highlight: Corn bisque, bread board with housemade focaccia and chateaubriand for two.

Rundown: Special omakase menu for two, with each dining experience customized based on dining needs, preference and budget, starting at $55 per person.
Highlight: To be determined by you adventurous spirit and Chef Matt Zdeb and his team!


Fancy Feasts

Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails at Hotel Palomar
Rundown: Prix-fixe menu available from 5-11 p.m. on Feb. 13 and 14 – four courses for $80 per person, with optional cocktail pairings available for $35 per person.
Highlight: Hamachi crudo, sunchoke soup, herbed filet mignon.

Rundown: Three-course Valentine's Day dinner on Feb. 13 and 14 with a bottle of red wine, white wine or champagne and live music for $240 per couple. Valentine's Day brunch on Feb. 14 with a special brunch menu and omelet station.
Highlight: Mimosa Kits for V-Day brunch! Mix and match with champagne and peach, strawberry and passion fruit purées.

Kitchen West at The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch
Rundown: Three-course, upscale American Western dinner menu from 5-10 p.m. on Feb. 14 for $59 per person.
Highlight: Add wine pairings for $20.

T. Cook's at Royal Palms Resort and Spa
Rundown: Prix-fixe menu with your choice of three courses for $125 per person, available from 4:30-10 p.m. on Feb. 14.
Highlight: Forest mushroom risotto, ratatouille, grilled filet mignon and panna cotta s'mores.


Pizza Paramours

Papa Murphy's
Rundown: From February 1-14, take home the HeartBaker pizza, a heart-shaped dough base topped with red sauce, whole milk mozzarella and premium pepperoni and ready to bake at home for $8.
Highlight: Make it a Sweetheart of a Deal and a tub of chocolate chip cookie dough for $11.

Eklectic Pie
Rundown: Valentine's Day special available at both locations: two 11-inch pizzas, two drinks (includes beer and wine) and a special dessert for $19.99.
Highlight: Classic love songs and free roses for the ladies while supplies last!

Spinato's Pizzeria
Rundown: Four-course meal with optional wine pairing (excludes the Tempe shop, which is the teetotaler of the Spinato's famiglia) for $34.95.
Highlight: Choice of stuffed mushrooms or artichoke crostini for an appetizer, and tiramisu or upside-down poached pear cake for dessert.

Drink special: All Together Lovely, with Hendricks gin, elderflower liqueur, lime juice, simple syrup, cucumber-infused ice cubes and edible orchid. ($12)

Stingray Sushi
Drink special: The Notebook cocktail, with sparkling sake, strawberries and a note pinned to the rim of the glass for you to write your own message or have Stingray write a surprise note for your beloved.

Ticoz Latin Kitchen
Drink specials: Big Girl Mimosa (strawberry agua fresca, house-infused citrus and champagne), $6; Sweetheartini (raspberry agua fresca, Absolut Citron, St. Germain), $8.95; Cupid's Delight (Rumchata, Absolut Raspberry and Liqueur 43 with housemade raspberry purée and chocolate sauce), $8.95.

Two Brothers Tap House & Brewery
Drink specials: A beer-centric romantic meal for two for $40 per couple, including pairings like Chimi-Turkey with Cane and Ebel. The dinner and drink special will be offered during lunch and dinner from Feb. 11-14.
