Gingerbread Man martini, $8

DRINK THIS

Even if the leaves don’t turn in Phoenix, and a “fall chill” means that our nights dip below 80 degrees, you can still conjure up autumn and the pending holidays with the sweet, zingy taste of gingerbread.

Majerle’s Sports Grill nails the spirit of the season with its Gingerbread Man martini. It’s a combination of equal parts Alchemy ginger vodka and Voyant chai cream liqueur topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon and served in a martini glass rimmed with sugar.

Bundle up – even if that just means long sleeves – and sip it on the patio during a cool evening for the full effect.
