You’ll get a chance to check out some hip and trendy digs and maybe get a few decorating tips for the new year. Here are three don’t-miss Valley home tours in January and February.

Southern Scottsdale Innovations MOD Second Annual Home Tour

On Sunday, January 10, nine homeowners in South Scottsdale (from Old Town to McKellips Road) will open their mid-century and contemporary modern homes to the public. Participants will get a chance to tour the residences and ask questions of the owners, who will talk about the unique characteristics of their homes. Builders and neighborhoods include Haver, Hy-view, Town & Country, Village Grove, Sherwood Heights and Southwest Village.

After registering and picking up a wristband, participants can drive between houses or a bus will be provided for those who don’t want to drive. Reservations must be made in advance for bus transportation.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Coronado High School’s Jobs for Arizona’s Graduates program.

When: 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, January 10
Where: Meet at 77 on the Park, 1350 N. 77th St., Scottsdale
Cost: $25

Willo Historic Home Tour & Street Fair

Now in its 28th year, the Willo Historic Home Tour gives curious folks a glimpse at some of this central Phoenix neighborhood’s historic homes. Willo District houses were built during a period from the turn of the 20th century to just before World War II and incorporate bungalow, Tudor Revival, ranch and many other architectural styles.

The walking tour is self-guided, but trolleys will be available if you need a lift. A street fair will line Monte Vista and Holly roads featuring local vendors, including Short Leash Hot Dogs and Roll Over Doughnuts, Scentsible Soaps, My Vintage Kimonos, Ceramics by Judith and Blast From the Past Antiques & Collectibles.

When: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, February 14
Where: Willo Historic District, Third Ave. and W. Monte Vista Rd., Phoenix

Coronado Home Tour

This year, the 29th Annual Coronado Home Tour will feature the Country Club Historic District, located from Edgemere Street to 14th Street and Virginia Avenue to Monte Vista in Phoenix. About half the homes in the Country Club Historic District were built in the early 1940s until construction slowed due to wartime building restrictions. The subdivision, which features mostly ranch-style homes, was finished by 1946.

In conjunction with the tour, the Coronado Neighborhood Association will hold a Picnic in the Park at Circle Park with food trucks, arts and crafts for the kids, a street fair, music and the Coronado Classic Car Show.

When: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28; tour from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
