The free fest will make its Phoenix debut at FilmBar, one of 32 theaters in the U.S. to screen the festival program. Highlights from the lineup include What We Do in the Shadows, a feature film from the creators of Flight of the Conchords and winner of the Toronto International Film Festival's 2014 People's Choice Award; T-Rex, a documentary about Claressa “T-Rex” Shields, the first woman to box for gold in the 2012 Olympics; and Submarine Sandwich, a stop-motion animated short.

Kickstarter sifted through thousands of films made possible by its fundraising service to present this program, which aims to expose these projects to new audiences in places they might not have had the opportunity to show in.

A free night of awesome indie films at the Valley's coolest theater? Yes, please.
