CFA Cat ShowThe poet T.S. Eliot wrote, “Cats are much like you and me / And other people whom we find / Possessed of various types of mind.”

It is true, as any cat lover will tell you, that cats can be awesomely attitudinal and incredibly diverse. And ailurophiliac attendees at the 23rd annual CFA All Breed Cat Show on December 12 and 13 will get to see more than 300 felines from 41 breeds, including the sultry Siamese, the smooth-skinned Sphynx, and the pouty-pudgy-faced Persian. And that's just the competition part of this massive feline fete.

The weekend whiskerama, which is hosted by Phoenix Feline Fanciers, Inc. – an affiliated club of the Cat Fanciers Association, Inc. – also includes a tribute to houshold pets; space for All About Animals Rescue (where guests can adopt a new catty companion); a supermarket of cat supplies from clothing to furniture to food; raffles; and even a “kitty costume contest.”
