The walls of medical facilities aren’t known for their amazing art. But thanks to Redirect Health, a company that helps small business owners and their insurance brokers build healthcare plans using a self-insurance model, lifeless landscapes and pastel floral prints are being replaced with whimsical works that pop with color and positive messages. The company hired artist Hugh MacLeod of Florida-based collective Gapingvoid to create playful pieces for its medical facility in Scottsdale. Here are four of them.
“Healthcare Begins Here” appropriately greets customers at the reception desk when checking in for their appointments.
This piece sets the tone in a patient room with reassuring remarks like “Keep informed,” “Keep fit” and “Keep trying.”
“Stay Amazing” oversees the café and patient waiting area, which comes complete with desks and couches.
Redirect Health selected “Thank You” to further express thanks to customers, partners, brokers and all others who support its new vision for the healthcare industry.
