3. Arizona Humane Society, Sunnyslope
The Sunnyslope Humane Society boasts a newly refurbished facility – including temperature-controlled kennels with plush beds – to house the animals in their care. These state-of-the-art kennels keep more than 100 dogs and cats comfortable until they are adopted. 4. Historic Home Tours
Sunnyslope Historical Society hosts its eighth annual tour of historic homes on November 23 and 24, with five homes built between 1948 and 1979, including a former residence of architect Al Beadle and a 1960 desert-setting home decorated and furnished in ‘60s style.
