Though long since lost to comic book antiquity, the original Moon Girl was a mystical princess with superpowers granted by a lunar fragment. The inspiration behind Arrowhead Grill’s best-selling martini, on the other hand, was a female patron who requested a fruity custom cocktail during the Glendale restaurant’s own Golden Age.
To make this stellar sipper, combine 2 oz. raspberry vodka, 1/2 oz. peach schnapps and 1/2 oz. pomegranate syrup in a standard mixer. Add a splash of lemonade or lime juice and shake well. Pour into a martini glass and gently top with Prosecco (ideally, the sparkling wine should “float” on top). Garnish with a fresh raspberry. While this tart pomtini won’t imbue anyone with X-ray vision or spider-like senses, locals are still over the moon for it.
